Terms & conditions
Website terms of use for zepcargo.com. Freight bookings, rates and invoices are governed by the Customer Standard Terms and Conditions you accept inside the product app, not by this page.
1. Who we are
zepcargo.com is operated by Zepcargo India Private Limited, an Indian company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. zepcargo is a brand of that company, not a separate legal entity. In these terms “we”, “us” and “zepcargo” mean Zepcargo India Private Limited.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What this website is
This is a public information site. It describes our freight-forwarding services, the product platform and the company. It does not run an account system, does not take bookings and does not process payments.
Login and Request access buttons send you to the separate product app (app.zepcargo.com). Your use of the product — quoting, booking, tracking, documents and invoices — is governed by the Customer Standard Terms and Conditions (or the relevant vendor or agency agreement) that you accept inside the app. Where those terms and this page differ, the terms accepted in the app prevail for anything to do with a shipment.
3. Requesting access
We forward commercial B2B cargo only. Access to the product is reviewed company by company. To be eligible you should hold an Importer-Exporter Code (IEC), a GSTIN and be able to issue or receive a commercial invoice for the goods you ship. Personal effects, parcels, D2C consignments and courier documents are out of scope, and we may decline or close an account that is used for them.
Information you send with a request for access must be accurate and about your own company. We may verify it against public registries and carrier or customs records.
4. Rates and information
Figures shown on this website — including the illustrations of rate results, landed cost, transit times and cut-offs — are examples that describe how the platform presents information. They are not offers, quotations or guarantees. A rate becomes binding only when it is confirmed as a booking in the product app, within the validity window shown on that rate and subject to the terms accepted there.
Duty, incentive and customs information is provided to help you plan. It relies on published Indian tariff data and your own classification of the goods. It is not legal or tax advice, and the assessing officer's determination governs.
5. Acceptable use
You may browse and share this site for lawful purposes. You must not:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download content, lane data or rate illustrations by automated means beyond ordinary search-engine indexing;
- probe, interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, the product app or any related infrastructure;
- misrepresent your identity or your company, or present zepcargo material as your own;
- use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages or to mislead others about our services.
6. Intellectual property
The zepcargo name, mark and logo, the text, illustrations, product film, original score and code on this site belong to Zepcargo India Private Limited or its licensors. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with attribution. Any other reproduction, redistribution or use of the brand requires our written permission. Carrier, port and partner names are the marks of their respective owners and appear only to describe where and with whom cargo moves.
7. Third-party services
Parts of this site load from third parties: web fonts (Fontshare, Google Fonts), the interactive globe library and its map textures (unpkg / three-globe), and the hosting platform (GitHub Pages). Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or content. The cookie policy lists them.
Links to carrier, port or government websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimers and liability
This website is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available but do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that any description here matches the exact behaviour of the product on a given day.
To the extent permitted by Indian law, Zepcargo India Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on information published on it. Nothing on this page limits the liability that we accept for a shipment under the terms agreed in the product app, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we handle information on this site and in the product is described in the privacy policy. Cookies and similar storage are described in the cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms when the site or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes to the product terms are handled in the app, where you are asked to re-accept.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory law to the contrary, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from this website. Disputes about a shipment follow the dispute clause of the terms accepted in the product app.
